Rescheduled first meet up for July 11, 2009

Please join me in our first meet up on July 11, 2009 from 11am - 2pm at my home in Phelan, CA.
Light snacks will be provided. We'll be making home cleaning products. For example, homemade laundry soap, all purpose cleaner and glass cleaner.
There will be some free samples for you to take home including rosemary from our garden.
Directions:
From the 15 freeway take the Main Street exit going West toward the 395. It will turn into Phelan Road as you cross over the 395. Go approximately 6 miles and turn right at the signal light that is Wilson Ranch Road. Turn right at the fourth street that is Yucca Terrace (it's the street right after you see the red barn on Acacia). It will turn into a dirt road and you will see a Joshua ahead in the middle of the road, slightly off to the left next to a telephone pole. Turn left at that intersection. There's a stucco'd house to your left. We are the second house to your right. A yellow manufactured house with an American Flag to the right in the front yard.
We are also having a fourth of July BBQ potluck if you would like to join us for the 9-12 Patriots and JBS.org. from 6:30pm - on.

PatriciaMade both liquid and dry laundry soap, dishwashing soap, all purpose cleaner with Thyme and Lavender soft scrub. Hint: Downy Ultra Balls are at Food 4 Less for $1.40 - add vinegar and throw it in your laundry to keep your washing machine from scumming up, clothes will come out brighter and with less static electricity. Also, add a few drops of essential oils such as Lavender, Eucalyptus and/or Juniper to kill mites then throw some dried herbs in a cotton bag into the dryer for a fresh herbal scent. This was the first step in replacing some commercial products with cheaper, healthier homemade ones -- Hope you can make it next time!
