Dear Healthy Homemakers-
How are you all doing so far? The weather is warming up, so those solar clothes dryers should be coming in handy (lol). We'll be meeting with a solar/wind company tonight who says that their product generates 1600w at wind speeds of 18mph and costs around $4500 and within 3 months you are supposed to have your money rebated back to you. If this is accurate, I'll be posting and sharing more information for you.
I know I owe everyone more pictures of my ongoing projects. I have been technically challenged lately with trying to get the pictures to transfer to my computer. We are currently working on the organic meat canning DVD too that we did with Pat Bantari, our local organic composter and master gardener.
Be sure to start using and collecting Heirloom seeds and try to buy non-gmo products as much as is possible.
Although not local, we'll be offering Amish raw butter soon from the Miller Amish Farm in Pennsylvania. Our local Weston A. Price Foundation leader, Peymon, will be making regular orders. We were able to go in with Rawsome in Santa Monica to lower our trucking prices. This helps our local truckers stay employed too.
In the next few weeks I should be able to start taking orders for Raw Milk from Organic Pastures as it is currently being delivered to Peymon in Phelan down the street from me.
Bountiful Harvest has been carrying this product and Mark McAfee is planning on coming out sometime in July to Apple Valley for an ice cream social. So, we need to be sure the Bell family keeps us up to date. Mark McAfee is an incredible speaker and everyone should know the truth on the benefits of drinking raw milk and other raw milk products. Even if you are lactose intolerant.
Meanwhile, stay healthy!
Patricia
